Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is a leading company, provider of global wind energy products and solutions for customers worldwide. The company has installed its own products and technology in more than 90 countries, has a total installed base of about 107 GW and has over 26,000 employees.

Three competence centres will be involved in the FASTAP project: Denmark, Spain, and Turkey. Within the project FASTAP, SG will have a double role. On one side, it will lead and manage the FTI project to develop the detailed FASTAP design and make the technology available up to TRL8 (by the end of the FASTAP project). On the other side, it will be responsible for the on field validation campaign and WTG certification process.

Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa S.Coop is the Faculty of Engineering of Mondragon University. MU-ENG has a socially orientated initiative and vocation and was declared a non profit University of common public interest. One of the main characteristics of MU-ENG is its close and permanent relationship with the industrial world, enabling it to outline its educational offer by adapting it to the needs of companies and organisations. The Faculty of Engineering of MU-ENG has approximately 450 employees and 2.340 students. The participation of the professors at industrial projects is one of the important focal points in its educational innovation process.

Infineon Technologies As part of two global enterprises with extensive expertise in power generation, transmission and consumption Infineon Technologies Bipolar (IFBIP) supplies the core technology for the entire energy chain.The company was spun off from the Infineon group as an independent company in 2007 to focus on serving the future-oriented semiconductor market for energy applications.

The SGB-SMIT Group with headquarter in Regensburg, Germany and companies in Germany, consists of factories in the USA, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Romania, the Czech Republic, India, China, South Africa and France. The SGB-SMIT Group has more than 2.500 employees worldwide and is a medium-sized manufacturer of transformers in Europe, which is able to deliver Cast Resin Transformers (from production sites in Germany, Malaysia and the USA) with capacities up to 25 MVA and series voltages up to 36 kV. Our offer includes converter transformers, distribution transformers and special transformers.
