FasTaP team present at the EPE23 ECCE

Last month, from the 4th to the 8th of September, the European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications (EPE23 ECCE) took place in the city of Aalborg, Denmark. It was also the 25th anniversary of this event and a great opportunity to, in words of Francesco Ianuzzi – EPE23 ECCE Europe Conference Chairman – “exchange views on research and technological developments in various topics”.  Part of our FasTaP team was there to participate.

From University of Mondragón, Ramón López-Erauskin (in the photo) presented the first day within the topic Energy Management, and more specifically, their presentation was about Design and Analysis of a Voltage Ride-through Testing Solution based on a Novel Medium-voltage OLTC Auto-transformer. He was accompanied by Manex Barrenetxea, Enrique Sagredo, José María Canales, all from University of Mondragón; Fernando Santodomingo, from Siemens Gamesa, and José Duarte, from SGB-SMIT.

In addition to the University of Mondragón, some colleagues from Infineon presented too, also during the first day of the event. Jens Przybilla and Jürgen Schielle from Infineon presented alongside Ramón and Manex in a session called DC Distribution & Microgrids Protection (II). Their presentation was called Comparison between the ETT and LTT Technologies for Electronic OLTC Transformer Applications.

All our partners had the opportunity to network with other professionals as well as to promote the activity carried out at our FasTaP project.
